Post not honest in al-Baghdadi death headline
Monday, November 4, 2019
Every time you are certain there is no bottom left to hit for the liberal media, it finds another way to sink even lower. Remember the media’s serial lies about Richard Jewell, the Duke lacrosse players, the University of Virginia rape case, law enforcement’s role in the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown cases, Jessie Smollett, the Covington Catholic high school boys, Brett Kavanaugh and, of course, President Donald Trump?
Surely, the Washington Post, The New York Times and every other news outlet learned their lesson about truth and honesty right? Surely you jest. How did the Washington Post report the death of terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, one of the most monstrous human beings in our history, a barbarian who kidnapped, raped and tortured a young American woman for more than a year, and who killed and beheaded countless people? One of its headlines for the story read, “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, austere religious scholar at helm of Islamic State, dies at 48.” Are you kidding me?
Then the Post’s Max Boot argued that al-Baghdadi did not die as a “coward” as Trump described. Really? Reports indicate al-Baghdadi blew himself up along with three of his children. I guess to liberals, going out like this is considered brave. The Post must still think that O.J. Simpson is just a “widower.” The Post has never said anything this complimentary about Trump, who just happens to be the leader responsible for liberating millions of Muslims with his successful approach to wiping out the Islamic State and quite possibly solving the 200-year-old border dispute between the Syrian Kurds and Turkey, which means we are avoiding a potentially disastrous war.
But it’s al-Baghdadi who earns all the Post’s kind words and praise, which reveals everything about the vile Post and its demented and perverse hatred for Trump and his supporters.
