A U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon, tail code LK, performs touch-and-go landing practice at the Elizabeth City Regional Airport, late Wednesday afternoon. The modified Boeing 737 maritime patrol aircraft made several passes at the runway before eventually turning southward and flying out of sight. According to the website public.navy.mil, the aircraft is assigned to Team Trident, Patrol Squadron 26, at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, in Florida.
