An Elizabeth City man is being held on a $300,000-plus secured bond following his arrest on several drug-related charges, including felony trafficking.
Razagin Kaseen Lee, 46, of the 1500 block of Emerald Lake Circle, Emerald Lake Apartments, was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 11, and charged with three felony counts of trafficking cocaine, states a news release issued Tuesday by the Elizabeth City Police Department.
Lee was arrested after agents with the Albemarle Drug Task force carried out a search warrant at his residence, according to police.
In addition to trafficking, Lee also was charged with one count each of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of storing illegal narcotics, police said.
Task force agents seized about 3.5 kilograms of cocaine, marijuana, two handguns, two vehicles and $213,000 in U.S. currency, police said.
Lee was confined at Albemarle District Jail on a secured bond of $301,500. An online search Tuesday evening indicated he was still in custody at ADJ.
The Albemarle Drug Task Force is formed of agents with the Elizabeth City Police Department, the Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigation. The Chesapeake Police Department, in Chesapeake, Virginia, assisted in the investigation.
